I never thought I would have to choose between my husband and my daughter, but the night I found Savannah curled up on her bed, I knew exactly where I stood.

She was barely fourteen when everything began, but by the time she turned fifteen, she had changed so much that I sometimes felt like I was living with a ghost.

For weeks, Savannah had been complaining of nausea and sharp pains in her stomach.
